Where Biopolymers Meet Innovation

NanoIn is a startup pioneering innovative and sustainable solutions in biodegradable polymers and biotechnology. With a focus on eco-friendly packaging and advanced materials for tissue regeneration, we create products that unite cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility.

We are part of the Biopolymers and Bioengineering Laboratory Research Group (BIOPOLI) at COPPE/PEMM/UFRJ and the RedeNanoSaúde network — strengthening our foundation in research, science, and innovation.

Founded in 2020 by young entrepreneurs, NanoIn’s mission is to transform industries through solutions that generate a positive impact on both the environment and society, driving a more sustainable future.

Our portfolio features three main product lines:

  • Aequor — Sustainable packaging made from algae- and wood-based biopolymers, 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly.
  • OsteoPrint — A biodegradable polymer filament of PLA enriched with hydroxyapatite and strontium ions, engineered for bone regeneration and biomedical applications.
  • Dermix3D — A 3D printing solution for cosmetics, dermocosmetics, and personalized advanced dressings, bridging biotech innovation and skincare.

OUR PRODUCTS

Aequor — from the Latin word meaning “of the sea”, just like our product.
Aequor is a 100% biodegradable biofilm used for sustainable packaging. It is made from natural ingredients derived from algae and wood.

It can be molded into various shapes, such as capsules, and after use, it dissolves in water without generating any microplastics.

This allows it to be disposed of anywhere without concern for recycling — making it an environmentally friendly and practical solution.

OsteoPrint — where technology meets bone regeneration.
A biodegradable filament made from PLA enriched with hydroxyapatite and strontium ions, designed to redefine the future of regenerative medicine.

Developed for medical, pharmaceutical, dental, and veterinary applications, OsteoPrint enables the 3D printing of custom polymer scaffolds that actively support bone growth.

This innovative biomaterial is safely resorbed by the body, leaving no residues while promoting enhanced biocompatibility, cell adhesion, and natural regeneration.

Dermix — where technology meets skincare.
An innovative line of personalized cosmetics and dressings crafted with 3D printing precision.

Formulated with FDA and Anvisa–approved hydrogels, and enriched with essential oils like tea tree, grape seed, copaiba, and sunflower, Dermix delivers natural bioactive power for advanced skin regeneration.
